Dedicated to the memory of Leslie Roberts

This page is dedicated to my wonderful husband Leslie Roberts who sadly passed away on 28th January 2026 at 78 years old, after battling prostate cancer for the last few months of his life.

Les was born in Edgware on 12th July 1947, he lived in various places during his life, finally settling in Linslade in 1977. He worked as an engineer in plastics mouldings before retiring having been an electrician for many years prior.

We were married in 1982 and had our two wonderful children Suzanne and Martin who joined their brothers Keith and David and completed our perfect family.

Over the next 40 odd years we made many memories of family life, holidays, weddings, Grandchildren and travel together once the children left home. Les was a keen musician and was a member of many bands over the years including various gigging bands with friends and enjoying 8 years with The Pink Cardiacs. He was proud to know he had passed on his musical talent and passion to all his children and much loved Grandchildren!

Fishing was also a big part of Les' life and he enjoyed many days out alone or with friends on the local lakes and rivers. In his later years, he preferred fly-fishing for Trout and making a mean smoked trout pate! He didn't manage to persuade the children to take up this hobby though!

Les is already very much missed by us all and we will continue to remember him with love.

Thank you all for being part of Les' life, we would be delighted if you were able to write your own memories of him on this page for us to enjoy and add to our own.
